Students in Grades K - 12 will participate in a synchronous eLearning day.
Synchronous eLearning
Students could potentially participate in synchronous eLearning days. Indiana Code 20-30-2-2.7(e) states that schools may not use more than three asynchronous elearning days per school year. eLearning days that arise as a result of weather or extenuating circumstances, will need to be synchronous.
eLearning is defined as extended learning. Extended learning refers to activities that continue the instruction happening in the classroom; it is not the introduction of new concepts. This work is provided by teachers and it is aligned with the district curriculum. Synchronous eLearning days have required live synchronous instruction for 3 hours of the day (per Indiana Code)
