I hope the first few days back to school and work have been positive ones for our students and staff. I would like to thank all of our staff, families, and community members who attended, participated in, or watched ourEnrollment Management/Redistricting Work Sessions and our Legislative Forum. We value your input and feedback. Please continue to share your thoughts as we make decisions on providing the best educational experience for our Warren students.
Enrollment Management / Redistricting Updates
Through feedback from surveys, focus groups, and recent School Board work sessions, we are continuing to explore several options to improve the experience and outcomes for our 5th-grade students and for all Warren students. Some of these options require additional research and a closer review of potential costs, which may extend the timeline for a final recommendation to the School Board. We will continue to share updates at the January 21st and February 18th School Board meetings and will schedule additional School Board work sessions along the way to support ongoing input / feedback and thoughtful planning.
Our goal is to make any decision that would impact the 2026–2027 school year as soon as possible, while ensuring it is informed, responsible, and in the best interest of our students.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance - Monday, January 19, 2026
In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., there will be no school on Monday, January 19th as we honor the life, leadership, and legacy of Dr. King. This day serves as an important reminder of his commitment to justice, equity, service, and bringing people together for the common good.
We encourage our students, families, and staff to use this day as a time for reflection and service. Whether that means volunteering, supporting a local organization, helping a neighbor, or having meaningful conversations as a family, Dr. King believed that service to others strengthens our communities and moves us closer to his vision of a more just society.
And of course, it’s also a great day to come together as Hoosiers and root on the Indiana Football team as they compete against the Miami Hurricanes in the College Football National Championship! Go Hoosiers!
Have a great rest of your week and enjoy the long weekend. We look forward to celebrating an IU win when we return on Tuesday, January 20th (on our normal schedule).
