The MSD of Warren Township School Board has been recognized by the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA) with an Exemplary Governance Award (EGA) for the 2024 calendar year. This honor reflects the board’s outstanding commitment to student success and ongoing professional learning.
This year, only 124 school boards across the state of Indiana earned awards through the EGA program. Awards are presented annually across four levels of distinction based on the number of points earned by school board members. Points are accumulated through participation in ISBA seminars, workshops, conferences, and other professional learning events. Additional criteria, such as conducting a retreat with an external facilitator and engaging in goal setting to elevate student achievement.
“On behalf of ISBA, I would like to commend this most exceptional group of school boards and school board members,” said ISBA Executive Director Terry Spradlin. “School boards perform a vital public service for their communities, and board members who actively participate in professional learning are better equipped to govern effectively and meet the needs of students.”
Award recipients were formally recognized during ISBA’s Spring Regional Meetings in May. We are proud to celebrate the following MSD Warren Township board members for achieving advanced levels of exemplary governance:
Level 2 – Exemplary
• Kevin Humphrey
Level 4 – Exemplary
