Congratulations to Francita McMichel a 2016 Teachers’ Treasures Teacher of the Year Finalist! Each of the three finalists will be awarded a cash award of $2500 and a $4000 American College of Education scholarship. A commemorative plaque will also be presented on March 3 at the Teacher’s Treasures Banquet.
On Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., parents, community members, and staff are invited to attend the forum. This opportunity will provide the attendees to share their insights on educational legislation or other concerns. This is sponsored by the MSD of Warren Township Board of Education. The forum will be at the Warren Education and Community Center located at 975 N. Post Road.
Don't Forget!!!! Warren Township will be hosting another gently used uniform sale on Saturday, January 9, 2016. The sale will be held at Lakeside Elementary School, 9601 E. 21st Street from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Items will range from $3.00 - $6.00 each and all sizes will be available. Does your child ever take too much time to do homework… need an extra boost of self-esteem…use social media…or choose not to follow your directions? As a parent, do you ever feel like you could use some support from other parents who have the same concerns with their children as you? If so, you are encouraged to register for our upcoming PAC (Parents are the Core) sessions. Throughout the 2015-16 school year, five sessions will be offered for parents. The sessions will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at school throughout the school year. Free supervised activities will be offered for children, ages 5-12, who attend with their parents.
