HELP OUR CLASSROOMS!
We would like to invite the community into the classroom in support of our teachers and their students. We welcome individual, group and corporate donors of new, used or in-kind classroom resources and monetary donations. On Saturday, December 7th, Rid-A-Pest will spray room A208 at Raymond Park Intermediate Academy. They will spray the classroom with Suspend SC, an EPA approved product that is authorized for use in schools. The classroom will not be available to anyone except Rid-A-Pest personnel all day Saturday. Copies of the Material Safety Data Sheets are available upon request. PARENTS ARE THE CORE
Throughout the 2013-2014 school year, five sessions will be offered for parents. Topics include UNDERSTANDING YOUR CHILD’S REPORT CARD, HOMEWORK TIPS, SAFETY AT SCHOOL, DISCIPLINE, and SPECIAL NEEDS. Parents who register in advance may enroll their school-age children in PAC KIDS – Pizza and Computers, which includes free pizza and special planned activities using the school computer lab. Sessions were held on September 24th and November 6th. Remaining sessions are from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 24 and Thursday, May 15. The February session will be February 6th and will be held at Warren Central High School focusing on bullying. Watch for information to come home with your student.
Raymond Park Intermediate students whose parents are registered for PAC (Parents are the Core) are eligible to participate in PAC KIDS. (PIZZA AND COMPUTERS). Five evening sessions will be held throughout the 2013-2014 school year. Students will enjoy free pizza along with fun activities using the school computer lab such as playing educational games, improving academic skills through educational practice, and creating original art and documents.
